NOTES: Toronto named RHP Victor Zambrano its new No. 5 starter and moved RHP Josh Towers into the bullpen as a long reliever. Zambrano is slated to start on Wednesday in Cleveland. … The Jays also activated Glaus from the 15-day DL and optioned INF Ryan Roberts back to Triple-A Syracuse.

Fasano’s been raking the ball in AAA (5HR already), so hopefully he adds some production to what has been a weak slot in the lineup this year. Also, good to have Glaus back.

Towers showed great composure last night after he gave up back-to-back homers.

Hopefully, the move to the bullpen will allow Towers more time to work on painting the corners of the plate — for him to be effective.

Towers is a control pitcher and he will be back, it’s only a matter of time.
