NOTES: Before the game, Toronto designated RHP Tomo Ohka for assignment, meaning the club has 10 days to either trade, release or reassign the pitcher. He won’t be able to catch yet, but will be available as a pinch hitter. With that being the case, Toronto will temporarily have four catchers: Zaun, Phillips, Sal Fasano and Curtis Thigpen. … 1B Lyle Overbay was back with the Jays after undergoing surgery on his broken right hand. Overbay had four pins inserted into his hand and he hopes to be able to return in four weeks. … The First-Year Player Draft begins at 2 p.m. ET and will be shown/updated live on MLB.com. Toronto has 10 picks in the first five rounds, including the 16th and 21st picks in the first round, three picks in the sandwich round, two in the second round, and one each in round Nos. 3-5. I am Slowly coming to the conclusion that the “big (Squib)hurt” was a waste of good canadian dollars, getting tired of watching them lose because the offense is hitting like little girls!!!

This team couldn’t hit Tomo Ohka. thats how bad they are. Another thing every time the big hurt comes to bat the announcers talk about him like he is a god. When are they going to wake up and smell the coffee. Mabey they should give him a RAISE. We will not finish better than 4th this year.Alex Rios is back with a bang this year thank God.What happend to Wells are his bats bent or what.Mabey he’ll play better for the big bucks next year.

I’m disappointed with the lack of run support for A.J. What, does the guy need an ERA below 3 before he gets a win?

What is up with the jays making so many errors? During the series with the rays, the jays made 7-8 errors.
