Nice team effort, 8/9 starters had a hit… wild guess who was hitless

Well, I was concerned about this series, th Rockies are one tough team who just swept the Yanks. Nice to see Thomas starting to get hot. He can carry a team and it does get contagious.

And what more can you say about Matt Stairs-what a signing that has turned out to be.

Now if Wells gets hot, we could be on a roll.

Wells had a sac fly scored a run had a walk played great defence.I think he did his job today. But i hope he starts to hit.Matt Stairs Made in CANADA.Thomas mabeyyyyy.

Much as I have always liked Matt Stairs, I had to wonder when the Jays signed him, if he could really help us. How wrong I was!

If you’d like to track our new Blue Jays drafted this year, you can go to the following site for the gulf coast team-until the Blue Jays convince MLB to fix their minor league web site and list the team there instead of Pulaski:

This at least gives you box scores so you can get a feeling of how our draftees are doing. Of particular interest on this team is Ahrens (number 1 draft choice) and Fuenmayor-a top hitting 3rd baseman prospsect signed out of Venezuela last year.

Fuenmayor is currently hitting .429 and Ahrens .333.

The other rookie development team is in Auburn, where the Auburn Doubledays have won the league championship-I believe 6 years in a row. You can review our draftees playing on this team at:

Sooner or later the Pulaski team will be taken off of this site and the gulf coast team installed.

Of particular interest on this teak is our 2nd draft choice, catcher Arencibia who is off to a slower start batting .200.
