Overbay going Overseas
Lyle Overbay is one of 24 players on the Japan tour roster, which was released on Tuesday. Overbay might not get a TON of playing time, though, considering he will be backing up Ryan Howard at first base.

Once Blue Jays news starts to come in a little more, you can expect more postings from me. For now, I’m enjoying some time off with my wife during the playoffs, which I was off the hook as far as working this season. When free agency rolls around and the hot stove is in full effect, I’ll be blogging more frequently on here.

I am glad to hear that Overbay is coming to Japan. I have tickets for the Nov.8th game in Fukuoka. I now live here in Japan and follow my Blue Jays on the internet. Any ideas about the Jays getting Matsunaka that Japanese pitcher that everyone wants?
