great game by the jays today.
any idea who the remaining catcher will be? fasano had a great game today but he also had an error. according to an article the other day the staff’s ERA is also considerably lower with Phillips behind the plate. It seems like the decision could go either way.
Halladay was certainly better with Fasano than he had been with Phillips, and I think Fasano has the better arm to second (despite the error today). Phillips and Fasano are both solid back ups, but I’m sure more than worry about the guy who stays up, we’ll be happy to get Zaun back, and hopefully he can get back in the groove quickly, because they don;t exactly have spectacular offensive skills. My guess is Fasano stays up, I get the impression he may be the better clubhouse persona.
