Happy Easter everyone!

Great work over the pre-season, Jordan!
Between the tweets and the blog you’ve done a graet job to keep me up to date.
Happy Easter!

New Hampshire is now announced their starting roster which can be viewed here: http://www.nhfishercats.com/news.php?a=382
Kyle Drabek is joined by Zach Stewart who played last year in AAA Vegas. Could be the Jays want them coming up together, or it could be they’re slowing down Stewart, which frankly wouldn’t be a surprise since he’s only been a pro for a bit over 2 years and pitched 138 innings in total of which 105 were last year and he needs work on his change up. It also might just be they want both these guys pitching in a climate similar to what they’ll face in the AL east, which is a long ways away from Vegas. I’ve never liked the Vegas move-thank you JP and hope the Jays move from there next year. Good pitching staff in New Hampshire, but offense looks a bit weak.

Another surprising move is Brad Emaus is repeating AA, I would have thought his huge spring training warranted a move to AAA, but it could be he’s being moved to 3rd base.Moises Sierra isn’t listed in the roster and neither Vegas or Dunedin has posted theirs yet, so either he got promoted to AAA or he’s been sent back down to Dunedin-which would be somewhat of a surprise.
David Cooper is repeating which isn’t a surprise, he’s got to show more power to be taken seriously, imo.
Eric Thames has been promoted from Dunedin which seems like a bit of a rush since he was drafted in 2008 and because of injuries has only played 59 games since. Thames hit .387/.503/.781, got 10 steals in 11 attempts, hit 13 homers, and walked 31 times in his last year at Pepperdine, so I hope he’s healthy finally and we see what he’s got, but it certainly is a vote of confidence form the Jays to start him at this level, so one to watch.
