I saw the game and the jays rocked in finial game vs Boston

I am a teenage Baseball Fanatic living in Saskatchewan! I am outraged at Sportsnet One! It sucks not being able to watch the jays and not even having the opertunity to purchase this new channel makes the matter worse. I find it sad that no one else my age follows the Jays and this will not help. I can remember being hooked on Jays games since I was ten, and with this lack of televised games im afraid new ball fans will not have the opertunity to develope the same passion.I have emailed and called Rogers to lodge complaints and I encourage others make themselves heard. Rogers completly discounted Jays fans living in western Canada! Please tell me I am not alone in frustration!

You are not alone, 92bluejays93. Anybody who lives outside of the Rogers cable area right now is in the same boat until our cable providers pick up the feed. Everybody should be bugging their local cable providers at this point to get a deal done. Cogeco tells me they are working on it but would not set a timetable, and Rogers must be feeling some heat as well. They surely can’t generate much advertising revenue with the miniscule audience they now have. In the meantime, we have to watch the Stinkees games, and All-Star Poker! Wheee!

Top marks to Antho and Jays’ scouts. I did not think that they were going to be able to sign their top picks, but they did. With any luck, Downs, Frasor, and Buck will bring us back 4 compensation round picks next year and we will again be able to stuff more young talent into the pipeline. A good sign to look for will be when our minor-league clubs start to dominate their respective divisions. We have a way to go, but at least we are heading in the right direction. Now if we could only find another Greek to replace Burke we would be set! 🙂

hey Jordan!

any news on the Sportsnet One fiasco? I’m in BC and am more than a little peeved that Rogers has bungled this one such that noone out here can watch ballgames.

Has anybody noticed that Jordan hasn’t been around for a week? Hey Jordan, where aaaaare you?
