NOTES: Toronto recalled INF Ryan Roberts from Triple-A Syracuse to take RHP Roy Halladay’s (15-day DL) spot on the roster. … 3B Troy Glaus wasn’t placed on the DL after suffering a left foot injury on Friday, but the Jays don’t need to make a decision regarding his status until Tuesday, when they will need a replacement starter for Halladay. … Halladay’s replacement will likely be one of these Minor Leaguers: Ty Taubenheim, Josh Banks, David Purcey or Jesse Litsch. … Clayton was back in the lineup after missing a few games with a sore back, according to manager John Gibbons. … LHP Gustavo Chacin played catch prior to Saturday’s game — his first time throwing since injuring his lef shoulder on April 30. … Halladay was released from Mt. Sinai Hospital in Toronto on Saturday.

Little Ryan does it again It was great to see Accardo [little Ryan] close out two games in a row I know it is to much to expect the Jays to win every time they take to the field but at least they are trying Mabey this will give Dustin some confidence I thing he did a nice job today Nice wheels on Wells Nice send by Butterfield Who do you think they will call up to start

Josh Banks and Ty Taubenheim are both in AAA and on the 40 man roster, so they are the most likely candidates.

Banks last pitched on the 9th which would have him scheduled to pitch monday.

Taubenheim last pitched on the 10th so he’s scheduled for tuesday, which is when they need a starter for.

Since Banks has pitched better this year and is generally more highly regarded I think he’ll get the call.
